Livonia Auctioneer Receives Top Honors That Less Than 1% Worldwide Have Achieved

Bloomington, Indiana,  April 17, 2008– Professional Auctioneer, Kenny Lindsay of American Eagle Auction & Appraisal Company, LLC based out of Livonia, Michigan has successfully completed an extensive three year executive program and has earned the National Auctioneers Association (NAA) Education Institute’s honored Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) designation.

The CAI designation is equivalent to a PHd in the auction profession and is the most respected education programs in the country for Auctioneers.  Less than 1% of auctioneers worldwide have achieved the CAI status. The CAI program is an executive developmental program offering coursework in management skills, business ethics, finance, marketing, etc.

Since 1976, the nation’s most distinguished and respected leaders in the auction industry and university professors provide instruction to CAI students for an intense three year executive program.  The Certified Auctioneers Institute is held at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Lindsay will be honored by his peers and fellow graduates in an official graduation ceremony at the National Auctioneers Association annual Conference and Show held in Nashville, Tennessee this July.

Lindsay is the CEO and head auctioneer for American Eagle Auction & Appraisal Company, LLC.   The company specializes in personal property, real estate and benefit auctions and consultations.   Lindsay’s auction firm has received 14 auction marketing awards including the 2005 Michigan Auction-of-the-Year award.  Lindsay is also one of two auctioneers in Michigan that graduated from the Benefit Auction Specialist program in Cincinnati, Ohio.    Lindsay was elected to the Michigan State Auctioneers Association Board of Directors and currently serves on the Governor’s Board of Auctioneers for the State of Michigan.
